TeV Instrumentation: Current and Future

During the last 20 years, TeV astronomy has turned from a fledgling field, with only handful of sources, into fully-developed discipline, broadening our knowledge on variety types gamma-ray sources. This progress been mainly achieved due to currently operating instruments: imaging atmospheric Cherenkov telescopes, surface arrays and water detectors. Moreover, we are at brink next generation instruments, considerable leap in performance parameters. review summarizes current status instrumentation, focusing comparison different instruments analysis challenges, as well providing an outlook future installations. The capabilities limitations techniques observations gamma rays discussed, synergies other bands messengers.
